For example, someone living in Birmingham, Manchester, or Liverpool would need to travel to London to submit an application. This involved taking time off work, planning travel, and submitting documents either through the express or normal route.

The e-visa system changes all that by allowing applications to be submitted entirely online, with the visa issued upon arrival at the Port of Entry.

According to a press release from the Ministry of External Relations dated April 2023, all visa applications to Cameroon should now be completed exclusively online at www.evisacam.cm.

The process follows four main steps:
