A Cameroon born American activist called Prof. Patrice Nganang; who was arrested three weeks ago for publishing a bias or unfounded report about the Cameroon anglophone crisis on the popular french magazine; Jeune Afrique and also for threatening to shoot the president in a Facebook post,
has been pardoned by president Biya and repatriated from Cameroon immediately after his release from the dreadful kondengue Maximum security prison.

This decision was taken on Wednesday December 27, 2017 i.e. 12 days after the first court hearing ( on the 15th of December, 2017); which prof  Patrice Nganang pleaded not guilty to all the charges levied against him. The case was then adjourned to January 19, 2018.....but on the 27th of December, 2017, Prof. Patrice Nganang was pardoned and repatriated back to US; where he naturalized few years ago.

As of now, nobody knows the motive or ulterior reason as to why president Biya decided to pardon Prof. Patrice Nganang of such an allegation but many french political pundits say that president Biya thought it wise to pardon and repatriate Prof  Patrice Nganang because sending him to jail would have incur financial lose on the government (as a prisoner is a liability to a nation) and to avoid spoiling  (straining) the good relationship between Cameroon and US. Many Pundits also say that the primary reason why Prof Patrice Nganang was repatriated is because of the death threat he made (via a facebook post) against President Biya. According to political pundits, Cameroon cannot harbor such a dangerous element especially in a time when Cameroon is at war with the Secessionists.

So as you read this post, Prof. Patrice Nganang is in US, after learning the hard way in Kondengui that Fiction writing is different from the writing of news articles.

LISTEN Carefully!!!

There no freedom of speech in Cameroon but freedom of the publication of FACTS. In other words before you publish any info on any platform or make any utterance,  GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT or else you will be arrested like Prof. Patrice Nganang.

I REST MY CASE!!!.
